HI. I just set up a new sql server 2000 standard edition server on a win 2003 server. The installation cd I used sp2 on it. Can I apply sp4 after this installation or do I need to apply SP3A before SP4?
Thanks,
Juanita

you can jump right to sp4, which brings you to version 2039.
I'd also recommend at least the 2040 hotfix if you are using AWE memory. Last I checked, the most current version was 2087.
Again test on a dev box and ensure applications function as expected.
Hope this helps.
