APPLICATION FAILED - UPDATES HAVE BEEN BACKED OUT

    hi all,

    my applicaion is giving the following error,

    TIRM030E:  APPLICATION FAILED - UPDATES HAVE BEEN BACKED OUT                   

    TIRM601E:  ERROR TRANSLATING THE COMMON FORMAT BUFFER INTO VIEWS               

        ASTCLIFM            TIRM046E:     TRANSACTION PROCESSING TERMINATED        

    TIRM602E:  REMOTE COOPERATIVE PROCESSING WAS ACTIVE                            

    TIRM604E:  PROCEDURE STEP AND TRANCODE TRACE BACK                              

    ASVCLIFM                         ASTCLIFM

     

     can anybody tell is it related to sql server db. application is ursing sql server 2000 with sp3

     

    please help

    Trace is giving just

    Begin Tran

    Rollback Tran

     

    and nothing in between  begin tran and rollback tran

    Is your application AllFusion Gen ?

    Has it worked before? If so, what has changed?

    Is your machine up to date with patches?

    Is your sql server up to date with patches?

    Is this a distributed transaction?

    If you trace, do you also trace

    SQL:statement completed (or even sql statement started, batch started)

    SP: statement completed ?
