Now that we've got RTM's in our grubby little hands....
Has anyone installed the client tools on thier workstations alongside of 2000 & 2005 tools? I've got my laptop with a LOT of the MS development products installed and really want to install the 2K8 tools, but am afraid of h0rking up my laptop.

One warning with VS2008 non-SP1 (which isn't RTM till next week)...

I had a SQL2005 server and I installed a SQL2008 next to it. No problem, except the user experience: SSMSs look the very same in the recent program list 🙂

Mhhmm, installed my client tools, BIDS and BOL yesterday afternoon alongside 2000 and 2005 tools. No issues other than an awfully long set of installs for VS SP1 and just the minimals for SQL Server. Had to have taken almost four hours for just the two installs.
S'all good sofar, and I'd say that the 2k8 tools are a bit faster on the new .NOT platform...
I also built my first 2008 cluster and it went remarkably smooth (much better than the RC0). I'm pretty much up and running with a production-level 2008 cluster at this point.

I don't have 2000, but I have 2 instances of 2005 on my desktop machine. I just finished installing an instance of 2008 on the same computer. I have both versions of Management Studio open right now. Hard to tell the icons apart on the Windows task bar, but otherwise no problems.

I've installed 2K8 tools alongside 2K5 & 2000 tools on my workstation with no problems 🙂
Also VS 2008 alongside VS 2003 with no issues.
Cheers
