I am using a Surface and am having trouble browsing. I have three issues actually:
1. Notification emails sent to my email that include a link to a new post (e.g. FindPost#.aspx) redirect to the Forums main page instead of the proper post.
2. On Forum pages I do not see the "My Posts" link.
3. When I click a "Reply" or "Quote" link on a Forum thread page IE appears to try to open the comment page but it tries indefinitely and never actually opens the page.
If I had to guess wher to start I would think there is something going awry with the interaction between the site's JavaScript and the IE browser loaded on the Surface. It could also be something to do with the redirection techniques the site uses or something to do with cookies, or maybe a combination of multiple things. At any rate, I would really like to be able to use the Forums on my Surface as the browsing and typing experience is far superior to that of my iPad.

Thanks, I'll pass along to our Devs, but not sure this will be a high priority for us.
Is this just IE or have you tried any other browser on Surface?

Also having issues with a newly upgraded Win 8 laptop. The 'active threads' link just goes away and never comes back in the new IE but still works well in Chrome.

I should have clarified, I have the Surface RT (same space as iPad) so the only browser option is going to be IE. The Surface Pro will run a full copy of Windows 8 (same space as Netbooks but not out yet) and on those one could install any browser.

I just installed the pre-release version of IE 10 on my 32-bit Windows 7 laptop and it exhibits the same behavior as IE 10 on my Surface RT...no My Posts link and when I click Reply on a Forum thread the browser spins indefinitely as if it is trying to load the next page, but never does. I had to make this post using Chrome.

Just a quick update. This problem was fixed on the Surface RT a while back. Thanks!
