Anybody have step by step instructions on how to restore systems db's in SQL 2005? Any help would be appreaciated.

ohh i thought we had to use Sqlservr.exe –c –m for single sign on and then recover the master db?

To restore the other system dbs, no. You only need to restart in single user mode for the master db.
