We want to travel to Florida (Tampa Bay / Orlando area) to visit family in the April/May/June time frame. Would love to find a class/seminar/event to attend while we're there.
SQL Saturdays aren't happening anywhere near where we will be, though.

Pam,
Are you looking for free events? Would you pay for training? Would regular user group meetings suffice?
You are coming to the area just after the Orlando .NET Code Camp (March 28th) which will have 1 SQL Track and that same week is the big SQLConnections conference (March 21-26) in Orlando.

Paid events are OK. I know about the Connections event but we're dealing with some family issues here on the West coast that need to settle down before we visit the family on the East coast.

You could look at www.endtoendtraining.com if you want a class.
Jacksonville has a SQLSaturday on May 2nd and that's "only" a couple hours from Orlando.
The Orlando SQL Server User Group (OPASS[/url]) Meets every other month so there should be a meeting in May as we are meeting this week. Usually we meet on the second Tuesday of the month.
The Orlando .NET User Group (ONETUG) meets monthly on the third Thursday. Their site also has an events calendar where you can see pretty much everything that is going on in Central FL.
