I'd much rather they spent their time making SQL Server 2022 run as fast as it used to in 2017. They "broke" it in 2019 and still haven't fixed it
SQL Server 2022... it just runs slower. And covering it up with some brand new "fabric" isn't actually going to fix it. Upgrading from 2016 to 2022 pretty much screwed us for performance.
I'd love to see a press release that says "WE FIXED IT!"
