    Is it possible to have a attribute heirarchy where the parent doesn't always have children? If so, how is this achieved in SQL server Analysis Services?

    Not quite sure I understand what you are asking...Are you referring to a Dimension with a Parent-Child hierarchy? Please elaborate.
