Amazon Route 53 Routing Policy to be chosen for 2-node AlwaysOn Replica

  Hello,

  Recently due to DNS issues, we have migrated to Amazon Route 53. We have the AlwaysOn 2-node replica (synchronous). Question is: what is the correct Routing policy to be setup in the AWS portal? The attached file shows the available routing policies offered by AWS. If we need to chose failover, which node to be chosen as Primary and which was is to chosen as Secondary? Now, if there is an event of a failover, how AWS R53 will flip flop the nodes?
