I have to add disk space to a secondary and hoping for clarification. I know how to suspend the primary and secondary, but is it required to suspend the primary as well as secondary? I just need to shut down the server for a minute for admin group to add space and then bring back up. I believe I just have to suspend secondary and then put it back once I get the instance back.
Thanks,

If it's just a quick operation you should be able to suspend data movement then resume it again afterwards.

suspending at the primary will suspend data movements to all secondarys.
Just suspend the data movement at the one secondary and dont forget to resume it afterwards.
Why are shutting down to add disk space??

Thanks!
That is their policy here to shut down sql server instance when adding space to SAN.
Doesn't adding space to SAN while SQL SERVER is on open to corruption? This is what they believe.
