I've a client setting up SQL 2012 with AOHA for a Data Warehouse, but my understanding is that you can't use Columnstore indexes and Always on HA together. Has anyone tried this? I've checked the requirements and restictions lists but not found anything on this.

I just tested creating a columnstore index on an AG database and it worked fine.
You can't use columnstore indexes with replication.

Thanks, I also got a chance to test it fully this morning, both adding a CS Index and creating an availability group on a database with a CS Index.
It all worked fine.
One issue I still have is we have always said that since data warehouses don't normally need point in time recovery, thay are kept in SIMPLE recovery mode, so you don't need to take log backups and reduce the risk of the log blowing out. But databases involved in an availibility group must be in FULL recovery.

Well, the assumption is that you don't have the same availability constraints on a data warehouse, I would assume. May not be true in the real world but there you go.
