Hello experts,
We have a 3-node Always On setup. When I use the Failover... in the SSMS GUI, I have two other possible nodes to connect to (assuming the current primary is NODE02).
NODE01 Synchronous commit / Automatic / No data loss / Resolving
NODE03 Synchronous commit / Manual / No data loss / Resolving
Specify the connection to the secondary replica
Connect...
When I try to connect to NODE01, it just hangs. When I try to connect to NODE03, the connection works and I can continue with the failover.
Does anyone know why the connection attempt would hang like that? If I need to provide any more info, just let me know.
Thanks for any help.

Hi, are you able to connect from node02 to node01 using ssms or sqlcmd? SQL port is open between these two nodes?
