Alternative to report model project IN SS2012

    Hi All,

    We have many client reports built on report model project in ss 2008 r2 reporting services, but this is deprecated in SS2012 onwards.

    Biz users used to do self serviced reporting using these published models; nw we kindoff stuck how to handle this in 2012

    we tried tabular model approach - but the underlying data is huge and we can't do in-memory calculations

    olap cubes - the data model is highly normalized and transactional in nature can't be done using cubes which expects structured data.

    we would need to know the otions avaialable for us in sql server 2012, thanks in advance
