ALTER RESOURCES (disk admin permission)

    Hi Folks,

    I have this problem where my application is not about to see the disks on my sql server (I need to get more information about this).

    My question for now is.. what does the server level permission ALTER RESOURCES allow you to do?

    Also if I am sysadmin I will have the permissions of diskadmin server (and more) role won't I?

    There's no such command as ALTER RESOURCES in SQL 2005.
