Alter Database options via TSql

  Hi,

  I'm new to Sqlsvr2000 and Tsql.

  I wanted to change the state option of a database. It was in MULTI_USER mode and with 'ALTER DATABASE schil RESTRICTED_USER' I expected to switch the state option. Alas that didn't work: Incorrect synthax near 'restricted_user'. I used SQL Query Analyzer.

  Via the Enterprise Manager I was able to change the state. But I rather use Tsql.

  What did I do wrong?

  Any help is greatly appreciated,

  Just saw the solution: add the keyword 'set'. The example in the book I used was wrong....
