Alret when restore not happened from last 5 hours in Logshipping

    Hi Friends,

    I need you idea for setting up Monitors for Logshipping, If Last restore does not happened from last 5 hours i am not receiving alert, I need some solutions on this? Can any one help on this . we need to setup a alert job to monitor the restoring backs ups on secondary server. If possible can you please send the script for creating the job?

    you can query msdb database(restorehistory table) of the secondary instance to check if the restore did not happen for 5 or more hours. If the query returns true, send an email to designated users.
