  I can't get the "Allow anonymous pull subsrciptions" check box from being grayed out. I can't get the "Use a Distribution Agent that is independent of other publications from this database" check box from being grayed out. What do I need to do to get this working?

  You do have sysadmin permissions?

  Try creating the publication with the stored procedures.
