Different SQL Server functions could be useful at different times. I know and use a bunch of them. However, I am curious to see all of them, with their description, inputs and output.
Would anyone know where I can find a place listing all the sql server built-in/predefined functions?
Thank you very much

Surely you could find something close to that in books online but I have no clue of where to get you started looking for this!

I thought there should be a comprehensive collection in books on line ... I googled ... but got nothing ... very strange!

I'm sure there is but the only thing I can find on short notice is in the index tab of the books online when you can scroll to functions and get the list there. But there's obviously no comments attached there.
