Alert if the job runs for more than 30 minutes

  I have a couple of SP running every 5 minutes and onces every two month they hung and I don't get alerted because is still running. My question is probably really simple for any of you.

  How can I get alerted if a job runs for more and 30 minutes?

  Take a look at Intervention system for runaway jobs 

  it needs to be updated for sql2ksp3. But it might get you on track.
