Agent running DTS package with VB program failing

  I have a job that executes a DTS package. The package runs a VB program. I can right click on the scheduled job in EM, and run it fine, but when the job runs at the scheduled time, the VB program creates a runtime error "CURSOR E_FAIL".

  Any ideas? The VB is version 6, using MDAC 2.7, SQL 7.0 SP4.

  Can you run the VB program as a scheduled job without using DTS?
