I just upgraded from MSSQL 2005 to 2008. It succeeded but I'm getting a message repeting in the logs:
Could not load the DLL xpsmtp80.dll, or one of the DLLs it references. Reason: 126(The specified module could not be found.).
Attempting to load library 'xpsmtp80.dll' into memory. This is an informational message only. No user action is required.
I don't want SQL Mail to be running, we are using Database Mail.
How can I get this message to stop? Any ideas are gretly appreciated. Thank you.

one of the down sides of a system upgrade is you may end up with old stuff you don't want. ( vs new install and userdb migration )
- did you disable smtp mail ? (sp_cofigure )
