Hey All,
One of the developers at my company has an application written in FoxPro (don't ask me why), but due to budgetary constraints we're unable to afford a failover cluster for that application. Therefore, he wants to put his clustered FoxPro application onto our clustered SQL Server.
Everything inside me says don't do it, but I'd appreciate any comments, pro or con, regarding this issue.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,

Unless you have a lot of idle time and a lot of free memory you will be squeezing on SQL. On top of that if anything is wrong wih his app (yes there neevr is but if) you could find your SQL Server down more often than you want. Do they have a business justifcation for it and are they willing to take the chance against your judgement?
