Adventure Works Cube in SQL 2005

    Hi there

    Excuse my ignorance, but How do I get the samble cubes installed and visible in SQL 2005. I selected the options to install all sample database when I installed but in SSMS there are no cubes.

    I also tried to build my own cube by adding a cube database and trying to right click and say "New Cube" but that option is not available.

    Hi you have to create a SSAS project:

    All Program - Mircrosoft SQL Server 2005 - SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio

         - Analyisis Services Project

    Set-up: the DataSource; DataSource Views; Cubes etc..

    Deployment: Process this cube to the server then you will see the cube.

    If you want to deploy the Adventure work sample, just open the solution C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Samples\AdventureWorks Analysis Services Project\Enterprise\Adventure Works.sln

    and deploy
