Is it possible to administer a SQL Server via tha internet once it has been installed?

I do not know the nitty gritty details about how to configure SQL Server to access remotely but yes if you want, either using remote desktop connection or by VPN.

Half the problem is making it NOT administerable over the internet unless you've firewalls in the way.
You do have firewalls protecting it don't you?
If the answer is 'yes', then create a VPN to tunnel into the remote network, and enterprise manager/query analyser/Terminal Services/VNC are all ways of doing it.
If you don't have a firewall in place, look into getting one as soon as you can.
