Administering linked severs

    sp_testlinkedserver TK2UPSSQLCDSQL;

    Error message: Msg 7411, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_testlinkedserver, Line 1

    Server 'TK2UPSSQLCDSQL' is not configured for DATA ACCESS.

    But following command works fine:

    select count(1) from TK2UPSSQLCDSQL.master.dbo.sysobjects

    1985

    -MJ

    -MJ
