adding date filter in SSAS

    Hi All,

    Im new to SSAS

    I have a measure table and 5,6 dimension tables and im able to create a Cube and able to deploy and process and also able to drag and drop the required filelds in the Cube browser also.

    But now my requirement is that my measure table contains one datetime field hence i have to filter the data retrieving on this date filter.

    Very urgent ..........

    Can anyone help please.....................................

    Hi,

    Actually Im having aDate field in my measure table (shift_date) and i have to filter the data as this shift_date between start_date and end_date .

    I have created a date dimension seperately in SSAS and given start date and end date and linked this dimension with measure table with that shiftstart date , but when i browse it in cube data is not filtered with these dates rather it is showing all the data.

    For eg i have given filter startdate 2011-05-15 and end date 2011-05-20

    but it is showing all the records in the table without filtering

    Please can any one help meeee.....
