Hello,
I am using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio version 9.00.1399.00. I am trying to add a custom report to Management Studio. I created a .rdl file in BIMS. How can I add this to Management Studio? I tried to right click on node at Object Explorer but I do not see option for Report. Please help. Thanks in advance.

The right-click functionality seems to have been introduced in SP2. Your instance implies you're on the RTM version.

Your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part...unless you're my manager...or a director and above...or a really loud-spoken end-user..All right - what was my emergency again?

I apologize...still new to SQL Server but learing everyday. How can I upgrade SP2 w.r.t. my version of sql server tool. Is upgrading free? Thanks!

Can't say I've tried that yet, however - as far as I know - updating the client is no different than upgrading the entire server. download SP2 from Microsoft's download site, and run the install from there.
Are you saying your server instance is already upgraded? because I'm pretty sure that BOTH need to be SP2.
