OKay I need some thought or just confirmation:
Established Cluster
OS windows 2003 64 bit sp2
Node 1 installed with sql 2000 32bit enter sp4, sql2005 64 bit ent sp3
Node 2 installed with sql 2000 32bit enter sp4, sql2005 64 bit ent sp3
My boss would like to add two windows 2008 64 bit nodes (nodes 3 and 4) with sql2008 and sql2005 to the established cluster. (and then eject sql 2005 off the old nodes 1 and 2)
IS it possible ? would the cluster support the newer quorum modes?
Could I split cluster afterwards into 2000 and the 2005/2008?

The nodes should all have the same OS version and patch level. Create a new Windows cluster with the 2 Windows 2008 machines and install SQL Server then migrate from instance to instance
