Hi,
We have an existing Windows 2000/SQL 2000 clustered environment, but MSDTC is not installed as a resource in the cluster.
Are there certain steps that need to be taken to add/install MSDTC in the cluster?
I can only find articles on moving or rebuilding MSDTC...but not added it after SQL has already been installed on the cluster.
Thanks!

MSDTC service should already be installed to each nodes of your cluster. What you have to do is to add MSDTC as a clustered resource to your cluster. The KB Q294209 should have details to direct you to do it.

The article talks about rebuilding a broken MSDTC installation on a cluster.
Do I just run comclust on each node?
A contractor that had configured the cluster said you have to un-install SQL from the cluster before you can add MSDTC to it. Is this true?
