  Ahoi,

  how do i add a user to the the drop down menu which can execute a SQL Server job?

  I added the user i wanted to test to the MDSB and granted the following roles menu.

  

  But its still not an available option in the drop down

  

  I assume i am missing something obvious.

  So you need to create a credential and then a proxy in the right proxy type, then you will be able to see this in the job drop down.

  Thanks this is what i was looking for.

  Security Tab --> Credentials

  SQL Server Agent --> Proxy --> SSIS Package Execution
