Add in a new file to a log shipped database

  Hi,

  I wonder if anybody can help with this.

  I have a database that is logged shipped. The database has 1 datafile which is in the PRIMARY filegroup. It also has 1 transaction log file.

  Now, if I were to add a second datafile to the PRIMARY filegroup (which will sit on a different drive to the original datafile) would this break logshipping?

  If you add one more file log shipping wil be uneffected.
