Is it possible, I don't want to screw up my existing dbs I have and don't see any option in installation center . I just want to add SSAS.
I'm on :
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 - 11.0.5058.0 (X64)
May 14 2014 18:34:29
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation
Developer Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

Yes you can do it.
When you run the setup, you will be asked if you want to do a new installation or modify and existing one. (I don't remember the exact wording.)
Then a few steps later, you will be asked what you want to add or remove. There you should have the option to check SSAS. Leave the checked options checked unless you want to remove them.

This file is there with good security, the only thing I found that it could corrupted registry, and there is registry key assigne ot this file

Please try to copy the install files from CD to your C drive and run 'As administrator'. Let me know if it works
