  • Is it possible, I don't want to screw up my existing dbs I have and don't see any option in installation center . I just want to add SSAS.

    I'm on :

    Microsoft SQL Server 2012 - 11.0.5058.0 (X64)

    May 14 2014 18:34:29

    Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation

Developer Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

    Thanks

  • Yes you can do it.

When you run the setup, you will be asked if you want to do a new installation or modify and existing one. (I don't remember the exact wording.)

Then a few steps later, you will be asked what you want to add or remove. There you should have the option to check SSAS. Leave the checked options checked unless you want to remove them.
