    Hello....

    What are ad-hoc queries????? and what BI tools we can use for MSSQL server..??

    ad hoc queries are generally queries that are not known to the query processor prior to execution (unlike stored procs for example).

    BI tools, the Microsoft BI stack is available if you already bought SQL Server licenses.
