Ad Hoc Distributed Query with a Text File

    Hello,

    Is there an OLE DB Provider that I can use to run distributed queries against a text file?

    Does OPENROWSET( BULK....) in combination with a FORMATFILE not work for you, or was that not an option in 2000 (it's been a while)?

    DTS is also a possibility...
