In the article "Step-byStep Guide to Clustering Windows 2000 and SQL Server 2000", only Active/Active clustering installation was described. What installation steps would be different for Active/Passive? Does anyone have a suggestion on a book about clustering?

You don't install the second instance of SQL on the passive node. The only book I have found on SQL clustering is in the sql server 2000 resource kit from microsoft.

The reason I covered Active/Active was because it was the harder of the two configurations. If you don't install the second instance, then you have Active/Passive. Good luck!
