Active Directory Security/Distribution groups

    Just want to confirm, in Security/Logins if I right-click and choose Properties I SHOULD receive an error when I try to select under status 'Login Disabled'

    I am thinking because it is an AD security group it doesn't have a password

    If a windows login is disabled, you will receive an error when trying to access its properties (unless you are doing so under an sa account, in which case you can pull up the properties and make changes).

    Haven't tested it, but I would imagine securityadmin could probably do the same.
