Acessing SQL Server tables with MS Access

    I've never tried it but I know with an account and password a person can get to SQL Server tables with Microsoft Access. Is there any other way to prevent this besides the account/password authentication?

    I would prefer to install M$ Access only on machines with users who hopefully know what they are doing
