Accessing SSRS from Subdomain

Unless I'm missing something here....

That would just be a CNAME record in DNS to divert the request to the servername

EG, if the server is called SSRSServer1.myapp.com

You would create a CNAME in DNS for reports.myapp.com to point to SSRSServer1.myapp.com.

You could also look at adding a URL root into the SSRS config which will do exactly the same.

Trust relationship between root domain and the sub domain should be enough. Could you provide more details

HTTP redirect is IIS should do the trick, have you tried it already ?
