accessing rdl files in the report viewer

    Hi,

    I am using SQL Server 2005,Visual Studio 2005.

    I have reports deployed in Report Server.

    Now we need to access them from the application.

    Can you help me how to configure report viewer in visual studio,to access reports from the report server.

    I think you need to have a reports solution in VS2005.

    Once you have this, add the Data Sources and then to add the reports:

    Right click reports...Add...Existing Item -> point to your RDL file.

    Note: You may have to download the .rdl file rather than directly access the report server.

    I achieved this through the report viewer by selecting the server report in the report viewer properties in visual studi 2005 and giving reportserver URL and report path in the report viewer properties
