As of SQL 2008 R2, is there still no simple way to access the Message output of the PRINTed statements from the Execute SQL Task?
I have a number of legacy sql batches that are run from osql with output sent to log files. I was hoping I could bring the whole batch into SSIS and write to email and log files strictly from inside SSIS.
I found older blog posts showing how to deal with InfoMessage events, but it stated that as of 2007 that an easier way to capture the textual output was a desired feature at MSFT.
