Why is it, sometimes a database will not allow me to
upsize it to SQL ? The Upsizing option in ACCESS is not available (unable to
highlight it)
I have 2 datasbases in the same folder on my PC. One will upsize, the
other won't. Is there something in ACCESS that won't allow me to upsize a
DB. What am I missing ?
Thanks.

I guess both are the same version and the same type (mdb or mde?)

what Version of access you use ? (Access 97, 2000 or 2002 [XP])
by the way Access 2002 [XP] is the best tool to upsize your application to SQL Server.

If it is an older Access database like Access 95 or 97 you might have to convert it to a newer version before the option is available. Also, are you trying to upsize to the same SQL Server as sysadmin? Or could the Access database have security set up and you don't have sufficient privileges? Just a few gotchas that I've run accross.
