Hi,
We installed reporting services and need to give the access to the developer to deploy rdl files. I just gave him the access to the url http://servername/reports
But my question is can we create a folder and give access to only that folder to deploy the rdl files? If it is yes how can I do that? or just I need to give the access to entire url http://servername/reports?
Plz advice me
Thanks

You can use MyReports folder to allow users to manage their own content.MyReports is disabled by default. One MyReports folder is created for each user. One user doesn't have access to MyReports folder of other user
A personal report is one that's meant for an individual user and not intended for widespread use, I guess you have to configure it this way.
To access MyReports, the user can click the MyReports folder in Report Manager.
Now check the rights you want to assign a user by clicking on My Reports Role.Systems admin can change the permission ser for all roles including My Reports.
Thanks!!
