Hi
I have created a DTS package that connects to an Access mdb database and brings data into a SQL Server 2000 table. This Access database itself has linked tables to another database.
When I run the DTS package manually it works fine. However, when I run it as a job it fails. I have given SQL Server Agent rights to access the folders - but it still doesn't work.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks
Paul

I'm sure you've already thought of this, but if the reference to the Access DB refers to a drive letter, it may be a different letter for the SQL Agent - are you using a UNC?

Thanks, Stewart
Dead right. I originally had it mapped to the server as normal, but a copy adopted a drive letter.
Silly mistake, and again many thanks
Paul
