Hi All,
I have a number of users telling me that Access is denied to reports via the web interface with the error "permissions granted to domain\user are insufficient for performing...". But, all of these users have rights to the reports via Active Directory Group membership.
Further, their access worked for a while and then stopped. The only solution I have been able to find is to grant their account direct access to the reports instead of relying on the group membership.
I have not yet been able to duplicate the issue using my, or other test accounts in that group. By all appearances it is working properly.
This would be ok except the large number of users that need access to N reports is most surely going to become a management nightmare.
Have any of you experienced problems with the SSRS web interface and Active Directory groups?
Specs: Windows 2003 SP2, SQL 2005 SP2.
Thanks!
