I have a SQL Server 2012 Standard installed on WIN2008R2. I just installed it a few weeks ago along with Reporting Services, Analysis Services and Integration Services.
Its been working fine until I un-installed Reporting Services and Analysis services. When I restarted the machine after uninstalling, I cannot connect to SQL via SQL Management studio because MSSQLServer service is not on.
MSSQLServer service is using virtual account NT Service\MSSQLSERVER, I tried changing that to a Local System built in user and get same error. Not sure what issue is.
The only service currently running is SQL Server Integration Services which points to binary path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DTS\Binn\MsDtsSrvr.exe
My SQL Server Instance is on path: D:\Program Files\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Binn\sqlservr.exe
. I set this up this way when I initially installed it.
Any help please?
