I have very little experience with SQL & ODBC.
We have an access database with linked tables using ODBC. The tables are on the SQL 2000 server.
How do I set up the ODBC link to allow multi users to share the access database that has linked tables?
I set the ODBC link up in the system DNS tab for the ODBC setup.
Right now we can make a copy of the access database or relink the tables for for each user. Neither of thes is good solution.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Russ

An Access data project (ADP) may be an easier way to manage that.

I had that same issue in my previous position, simply delete the dns entry. That's a quick and dirty solution but it got me through it.
I had to use a form with a DNS entry deletion code in the background.
