  Absolutly massive topic. Are you maintaning a solution or creating one?

  What type of replication are you going to be working with, transactional \ merge \ snapshot etc etc.

  The more information you can provide the more specific the answers the forum can provide.

  The terms have acquired different meaning with SQL Azure now.

  SQL Azure uses a sync framework to help sync local SQL instances to the SQL Azure cloud.

  Replication allows you to move data between SQL Server instances.
