Hi All,
It seems quite strange that out of 20 systems in a WorkGroup, 16 are XP , 2 are Windows 2000 Server/Professional and the other two are Vista Business Editions.
Here is the problem, XP Users can connect to the SQL Server once they are logged in to the Network at boot time.
But Windows 2000 / Vista Users need to first type in the Server Address or Network share, login and then they are able to access SQL Server without any problem.
Now is there a way as to how XP handles network connections versus Windows 2000/Vista?
Thanks
Kind Regards
