A virtual drink for everyone !!!

  • Somedays they pay me what I'm worth. Somedays they pay more than I'm worth. Somedays they just don't have that kind of money in the budget.

Dr. Peter Venkman: Generally you don't see that kind of behavior in a major appliance.

  • Congrats, Frank! Personally, I'll toast you with an Amstel Light (made by Heineken) or a good glass of cabernet! Glad to hear of your surprise. You deserve it.

    All the best,

    Dale

  • Ich weiss jetzt, dass ich gesagt haben sollte:

"Ich gratuliere. Bis mein naechstes EMail..."

Ich versuche immer besser zu sein.

  • Keine Messe. Ich muĂź Babel FischĂĽbersetzung verwenden, um Sie heraus darzustellen Halteseile!

    All the best,

    Dale

  • Babel fish makes the funniest translations. It always translates the language so that the speaker sounds as if they have just landed from Mars and are using a dictionary to speak to you.

  • Yeah, I was really leary. What did my German really translate to? My brother had a foreign exchange student live with him one year that was from Germany. He sends me emails from time to time and the translations are really screwy. He probably thinks the same thing when I send him a message.

    All the best,

    Dale

Naja, eigentlich heisst es, glaube ich:

    "...Bis zu meinem nächsten EMail..."

    besser, universeller und einfacher ist:

    "Bis zum nächsten Mal..."

    Cheers,

    Frank

  • "No fair. I have to use Babel Fish translation to figure out what you are saying." However, I see even Babel Fish screwed up that translation to say this, "No fair. I must use Babel fish translation to represent around you cords out!" What the...?

I would start translating it by

    "Das ist nicht fair. ..."

But what does 'represent around you cords' mean?

    Cheers,

  • Heck if I know. That came from Babel Fish (online translator). I was trying to have this translated to German:

"I have to use Babel Fish translation to figure out what you are saying."

    All the best,

    Dale
