I came from a place where everything was much more adversarial and help was some times delivered with a side of condescension. This is a very pleasant and helpful place to ask questions and provide answers.

Another opportunity to say "Steve, you are doing helluva job. Thanks!"

What a nice post, Steve, thank you! And I echo it; I've gotten lots of help from this website and these forums over the years. And I learn new things, like I didn't know know about T-SQL Tuesday. Nor have I tracked hash tags #sqlfamily or #sqlrun (what are they about, anyway?). I think I'd like to follow along and participate in some T-SQL Tuesdays, in the future.
Kindest Regards, Rod Connect with me on LinkedIn.

Thanks for the complements and glad you like the site.
T-SQL Tuesday is the second Tuesday of every month, and there's a different host every month. There's a Twitter hashtag of #tsql2sday to follow as well.
#sqlrun is for the runners in the SQL Server community. We had about 40 of us go for a run one morning at the PASS Summit, and a few of us have run at other events as well.
#sqlfamily is kind of a personal bonding tag. Random stuff there, but all good.
